PRANJAL

GUPTA

Hello!

I'm Pranjal Gupta, an aspiring consultant with a flair for simplifying complex problems by bifurcating them into smaller, easily manageable components. I firmly believe successful strategies are often an empathetic response to the challenge instead of a purely analytical approach. My multicultural upbringing in India has instilled in me a desire to explore the world. Working with dynamic businesses striving to make an impact around the globe is just one of the ways I scratch that itch while tasting different cuisines is a close second.

Pioneering Empathetic Solutions for Tomorrow

Strong Work Ethic

I started my first internship at 18 and have always displayed the highest professionalism and commitment to whatever task I commit to.

I Am Defined By…

Growth Hacking

I have devised a self-growth technique where I learn from others’ mistakes instead of making my own. Shortens the growth process!

Ambition

I embody humility in my personality which provides me flexibility to adapt, allowing me to grow horizontally while pursuing vertical growth.

Bringing Structure to Chaos

I am an integrator who is always approachable and thrives in chaotic situations with the ability to prioritise and deliver.

4 Things I am Proud Of…

  • Securing a Job During the COVID-19 Pandemic

I secured a job offer in my penultimate semester of undergraduate studies as an analyst in a fintech company. However due to COVID-19, they couldn’t honour the offer as the market was bad. Through persistence and constant improvement, I was able to secure a job within one month with strategic networking.

  • Being Surrounded by Amazing People

I have been blessed to be surrounded by a cognitively diverse set of individuals who inspire me to grow and explore. They are also my biggest cheerleaders!

  • Smoothly Integrated into a New Country

Travelling started as a hobby and soon evolved into an opportunity to broaden my horizons and meet new people. Within the next three years, I had travelled to 20+ cities. Later when I landed in Ireland, the experiences helped me adapt to the cultural shift easily.

  • Giving Back to My Community

I have devoted myself to spending some time giving back to the community. In India, I gave personal sanitation and hygiene classes to children living in doss houses. In Ireland, I’ve spent time helping young kids prepare SOPs and other documents for their college applications.

Life at Present…

My journey from India to 'Baile Atha Cliath' has been an exciting and rewarding experience. At UCD, I am learning the sciences of consulting that provides value for society and its stakeholders while working with a cohort of the greatest brains from around the world.

A few of my current courses include Management Consulting Principles, Competitive and Corporate Strategy, Project Management,  Sustainable Production & Consumption, and Diagnostic Techniques in Consulting.
